Maya
PET OF THE MONTH!

Say hello to Maya! She is a 1 1/2 year old American Staffordshire Terrier mix. She weighs around 60 pounds and is knee high. Her pictures do not do her justice. She is very pretty and unique looking. She has brindle markings on her eyebrows, chin, legs and chest. The rest of her coat is black...which is why we believe she is mixed with Rottie or Doberman. She lives with two children ages 12 and 5. Her playmates are 2 male dogs. She would do great in a home with another playful dog because that is one of her favorite things to do. She plays gentler with her foster family's pug and rougher with their lab because he is closer to her size. They also have an older cat. Maya gives her a playful chase from time to time but she just hisses at her and Maya lets her be. .....more]

Peyton
Introducing Peyton! She is a 2 year old Pitt Bull Terrier mix. Peyton is a real sweetheart, affectionate and fun! She is also a wonderful listener and already knows basic obedience. Peyton is unsure3 of other dogs and would do best as an only dog or with an easy going male partner. She adores everyone she meets. She is 100% crate trained and will let you know if she has to go outside. If you would like to meet this pretty gal....[more]

Lefty
Welcome Lefty!! He is a 3 year old Shepherd mix, around 30 pounds. Lefty is a very sweet playful boy. He loves to chase balls and sticks. He also loves playing with the other dogs in his foster home. He don't mind the cats and smells them but he thinks they are lazy and boring to try to play with. Lefty is GREAT with kids. He is house trained and crate trained. He loves to be petted and will stand still for as long as you will pet him. He is great with everyone and every animal. He is a lover and would be a great dog for old or young....[more]

Sweet Pea

Raisinette
Introducing Raisinette! She is one of 5 beautiful 5 month old Mastiff/Lab Mix puppies. She is a typical fun and active pup. She does very well with children, cats and other dogs. She is crate trained and doing very well on her potty training. All she needs now is a family to call her own....[more]

Lola
This is the amazing Lola! She is a beautiful pit mix that is about 2 years old and is a sweet girl that just wants to be loved. She is a bit under weight at the moment but we are working on fixing that. She already knows sit, shake, speak, wait and lay down and takes treats very gently. She is also great about letting you touch her while she's eating and you can take her food away with no problem. She loves cuddling with people but is also content with just sleeping on a dog bed by herself. She is currently living with one male and one female pit bull and they all get along great!....[more]

Paisley
Please meet Paisley. She is a super sweet 1 1/2 year old female Am Staff mix. Paisley was found as a stray and picked up by a local animal control facility. Because of her breed they were unable to adopt her out but saw what a sweetie she was and contacted rescue. Paisley is absolutely beautiful with her amazing markings and one crystal-blue eye. She is a petite little gal and only weighs about 40 pounds. She just arrived in her foster home but has been wonderful so far. She loved the doggie wash where she got a VERY long bath. She hasn't had any accidents in the house and is quiet and well-behaved in her crate....[more]

Just Arrived. More Details to come

Share Your Heart and Home!
We can't do it without you!

CPR Fund is desperately seeking Foster Homes in the Lake/Porter County, IN area to house foster dogs until they are adopted into loving homes.  CPR Fund will provide all the food, supplies and guidance needed, but we need YOU to provide a safe, loving environment while these pets wait for adoption.  You will be asked to accept the responsibility of transporting your foster to vet appointments in Cedar Lake or Lowell and also, to either attend Adoption Days with your foster or deliver your foster to another willing volunteer on Adoption Days. You can be as involved in the adoption process as you wish, from screening potential adoptive parents to participating in CPR activities!

Please find it in your heart to help these furry friends find their forever homes.  Send in a Foster Application today.  A CPR volunteer will contact you to answer any and all of your questions or click here for more online information.
