Say hello to Mandy. She is a 5 month old female long haired Chihuahua/ Terrier
mix. She is just about full grown at around 10 pounds. We do not think she will
go more than 15lbs top end. She is going to be a bit taller than your normal Chi
Chi. Mandy is the most loyal little snuggle bug you will ever meet. She is
shy when she first meets you but 5 minutes later she is camped out on your lap
giving you kisses. Mandy IS a lap dog. lol She LOVES to curl up and sleep on
you. She will follow you everywhere you go while in the house. She comes when
called every time when outdoors. If your looking for a small breed pup to
brighten up your day....you have found her. She is good with the BIG dog in her
foster home, loves to watch TV with the 8-9 year old children here and even

Introducing Huck! He is an American Bulldog/Boxer mix. Huck is 5 months old
and just as happy as can be. He is getting along great with the three other dogs
he is living with and does fine with the resident cat as well. Huck is doing
well on potty training and his house manners seem to be fantastic. Huck is a
laid back little guy and weighs only 35 lbs, but will surly gain some as he is a
bit thin now and has a few more months of growing time. Huck loves toys and is
amazed at all the things in his foster home and when he gets excited he wags his

Say hello to Puck! He is an amazing 1 1/2 year old male chocolate Lab/ Staffy mix. Puck
came into rescue when his owner went to jail. But regardless of what his life
was like before, he is an incredible dog. Puck is very friendly but not pushy.
He loves to give and get affection and is especially fond of cuddling up for a
snooze after a long day. He also enjoys a good game of fetch, even if its with a
giant tree branch- just look at his picture. He knows basic obedience, is
totally housebroken and crate-trained, good with other dogs, and does well with

Welcome Katie! Our best guess is that Katie O'Grady (that's what her foster mom
calls her) is a German Shepherd/ Golden Retriever
mix. Katie is on the smaller side, not nearly as big as a German Shepherd or a
Golden Retriever. She is approximately 1¹/² years old
and around 50lbs. Katie needs a tiny bit of work on her manners, but she is a
very smart girl who is quickly learning to patiently wait for her favorite toy
(a tennis ball) to be thrown without jumping up on people. Update: Katie's new
favorite toy is her rubber chicken squeaky

Meet Dakota. She is a VERY sweet 5 month old Boxer/Staffy mix. The posted
pics were taken when she first arrived at CPR rescue. She was about 3 months old
at the time. Dakota was a bit underweight when she arrived and is now at a good

currently lives with two large Rottys and 4 children of varying ages. She is

Say hello to Maggie. She is one year old female Pit Bull mix. Maggie is
super-affectionate and loves to spend time with her people. But she also has a
playful side and adores chasing a tennis ball or gnawing on a squeaky toy.
Maggie gets along with the two other dogs in her foster home but does not seem
to appreciate being jumped on or bullied by other dogs. She also loves kids but
would probably be better with older children due to her playful nature....[more] |
Mr. Magoo |

Meet Mr. Magoo. This poor guy arrived at CPR with a horrible eye injury. It is
unclear what caused the problem but whatever it was, it was severe enough to
cause him to lose one eye and have his vision seriously affected in the other.
He seems to be able to detect light and movement as he has little difficulty
maneuvering through his foster home, now that he is familiar with it. He is even
able to get in and out the doggie door with ease. He still comes running and
happily bounces around until he finds you. Thankfully his foster brothers and
sisters have picked up on his short comings and are more than happy to give him
a hand. Therefore, Magoo would probably do best in a home with other dogs. He
does exceptionally well with other animals and is very tolerant of everyone,
even the more playful ones. He doesn't seem to have a crabby bone in his body.
His is housebroken, great with kids, and the happiest little guy you could ever
hope to meet. He loves going for walks, visiting his friends at Petsmart, and
snuggling up in your lap for a little belly rub.....[more] |
